Bizarre Foods: Curry Lemonade

Japan seems to be the home of weird and wonderful snack foods and drinks so it is no surprise that our next instalment of 'Bizarre Foods' comes from Japan! Brace yourself, because this has to be one of the strangest things I have ever heard of...

CURRY LEMONADE.

Yes, you really did just read that, I am talking about Curry Lemonade. I honestly can't even begin to contemplate what this actually tastes like, would it be lemony with a spicy kick like curry mango? Or would it be sweet with aromatic spices like a korma? When I try and imagine it, I can't help but cringe inside at the idea of such a strange combination.
I'm not entirely sure what the thought process in the creation of this product was, I can only imagine that there were a bunch of Japanese executives sitting in a small room, very late at night after being trapped in there for a week with the task of designing a new drink, whilst sharing an Indian takeaway and a bottle of Schwepps lemonade. One of them, desperate to escape has a 'Eureka' moment, shouting at the top of his lungs 'guys! Lemonade - Good. Curry - Good. Why don't we merge these two together?!' And so desperate to escape, everyone just agreed!
Okay, so this probably didn't happen but it is the only plausible explanation that I can come up with for the conception of this drink.

So would I try it? Personally I'm on the fence about it all, I would probably try it out of curiosity rather than it actually appealing to me in any way. It would certainly be a unique experience...
