Yogurt Flavour Pepsi.
This bizarre drink, unsurprisingly, comes from the beautiful land of Japan and was released in 2009 as a limited edition winter product, because obviously when you think of Christmas, you immediately think of enjoying a cold glass of Pepsi with a nice yogurt! Well, I don't know about you, but the only link between Christmas and yogurt, that I can think of, is that natural yogurt is white like snow. Personally I think this link is rather weak, and if you were to continue down this line of thinking then rice, mashed potato and salt must also be festive...
Anyway, I suppose that I can somewhat see the logic behind such a combination, because you can have an ice cream float and you can have cream soda but yogurt isn't quite the same as ice cream and I am going to be honest, the whole concept is sort of making me gag a bit. Maybe I am too much of a sceptic but I can't grasp how this concept works and from what I have read about it online, it wasn't a great product and certainly didn't take off in Japan. Hmmm, I wonder why...
Personally, I don't know if I would be able to stomach such a combination of flavours. I am quite relieved that this never made its way over to the UK because it sounds pretty awful. The idea of it warm is even worse, the longer I dwell on it, the more queasy I feel, so I shall leave you with this strange drink to dwell on. Would you drink it?
