You may have heard of Simple Plan, but you may have not heard this song, because it was a hidden track on their first album 'No Pads, No Helmets...Just Balls'. Perhaps you could say this was the bratty male teenage version of 'Santa Baby'.
Hollywood Undead - Christmas In Hollywood
Oh, Hollywood Undead, I remember when you guys were awesome. I also remember that cool Christmas song you did once, but often forget about. This one is a tad rude, kids, so proceed with caution, unless you want coal in your stocking.
Fountains Of Wayne - I Want An Alien For Christmas
Remember this band? Hint if you don't: they were one hit wonders with the song 'Stacy's Mom'. Well for some reason they have a Christmas song randomly placed in the middle of one of their full-length albums. It's cool, check it out.
Yellowcard - Christmas Lights
If you are one of those cheeky chappys or chapettes from the United Kingdom, you may be familiar with the Coldplay song 'Christmas Lights' which was released back in 2010. As much as people get at Coldplay for being a misery-fest, I do love that song. You might even love it too, but have you heard Yellowcard's cover? I'm of the opinion that this is the better version of the song, I just feel that the band captures the emotion of the song better, but then again maybe I'm just biased 'cause I like punk.
TobyMac (Feat. Owl City) - The First Noel
I heard this playing in Asda once and I was like 'hey! That's Owl City!' so then I went home and bought it on iTunes.
MC Lars - Gary The Green Nosed Reindeer
I met MC Lars this year. He's an awesome dude. He also made an awesome Christmas song, a spoof of the Christmas classic 'Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer', where he puts his signature comedic spin on things.
Die Roten Rosen - Auld Lang Syne
Yeah, I know it's supposed to be a New Year's Song, but people listen to it during Christmas Time so I'm going to include it. Anyway, I thought that MxPx's version was the best, but then I found this cover by some band from Germany and I like this more (MxPx I still love you though).
What are some of your favourite Christmas songs? What are you getting for Christmas this year? What do you love about Christmas? What's the name of your cat? Am I asking too many questions? Anyway, just leave a comment below, or get in contact via our Twitter or Facebook page. Have a very merry Christmas everyone!
