Short Thoughts #3: The YouTube Count Conundrum

Short Thoughts #3: The YouTube Count Conundrum (from the 3rd of April 2012)

"If a YouTube video was uploaded on the 7th of February 2011 and received 2,300 views per second, how many views would it have gained by the 3rd of April 2012?
There are 86,400 seconds in a day. So if the YouTube video was to receive 2,300 views per second, that means that in a single day, it would receive a whopping total of 198,729,000 views. If you multiply that by the amount of days between the date the video was uploaded (the 7th of February 2011) and the 3rd of April 2012, which in total is 421 days, just a little bit above a year, you get an even more ridiculous total of 83,664,909,000 views. Not even Charlie bit my finger has that many views."

- Regarding a video on YouTube that was titled '2.3k views per second' yet only boasted a underwhelming 9k since its upload.
