It's that time of the week again where I count down my top 5 singles of the week.
Number 1: Mark Eitzel - Move On Up: A top, top rendition of an already brilliant song and it sounds like the most fun Mark has ever had in a studio.
Number 2: Grandaddy - El Caminos in the west: Ameteurish electronics backs this space fuelled alternative rock anthem about being away from home.
Number 3: Eels - Spectacular Girl: A greatly uplifting song from the usually emotionally controlled songwriter.
Number 4: Primal Scream - Come Together: "This is a beautiful day. This is a new day. We are together."
Number 5: The Black Lips - Katrina: Shambolic genius from this drug fuelled garage rock band.
